Good people aren't always good drivers

I was walking down to buy some stuff this evening when a friend of mine who was driving by pulls over and offers to drop me off. It was about 30 degrees outside so I accepted. That was mistake 1. Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against this guy, he's a wonderful person... but he ought to be labelled a danger to public health. Now if you're having trouble visualizing this let me give you a rough analogy.

Assume you've just had a very heavy lunch and you've been forced to ride this:

And the guy drives more or less like riding this:

Now to make it more interesting add the occasional 90 year old man and cyclists that keep jumping in the way, whom he apparently refuses to notice unless I yell into his ear. I'm pretty sure that unless I was sitting in the car he would have mowed down atleast 16 people :O. Well atleast I'm still in one piece :).

The world of Peanuts :D

Peanuts defintely tops my list of favorite comics so to those of you who haven't heard of it here's an intro :)....
"The Gang"

 "The first Peanuts comic strip"

Meet CHARLIE BROWN:

My personal favourite. Unfortunately he ends up failing in almost everything he does which makes you feel sorry for the poor chap :(....

Meet SNOOPY and WOODSTOCK:

Snoopy, Charlies brown's dog, is probably the most well known and loved dog all over the over the world, although he does occasionally become Snoopy, the devil of the skies in WWII.

Meet LUCY and LINUS:
The classic example of sibling "love".

"Lucy"

So if you haven't bought Peanuts already you'd be well advised to get one soon enough :)....It promises hours of fun.

That special someone

We all have that special someone. The person who can make us smile when we feel our lowest, the one who we think of every morning when we wake and the one who knows all our secrets but loves us anyway. So if you already have someone like this... don't let them go... because sooner or later, you'll regret :(....

And to sum up...

Well all considered it wasn't that bad a night. The food did consist of some sort of plastic covered in paint but things could have been worse. Met up some old friends whom I hadn't talked to in ages. It was a fun night :) .

Parties

Now imagine you're at a party.
I suppose you've thought of dj's and music and dancing. Now let's come to the "party" that I'm at now.
Imagine the worst party you've ever been to. Now remove all the people you like from the party. Then raise the average age of people there to 60 ( I won't even go into why I'm here ). Now think of them sitting around and playing the game where a chappie in front calls out silly numbers (2 fat ladies, eight and  eight, eighty eight) and everyone else makes holes in a piece of paper with a toothpick and add an occasional "oooh aaah" from the audience. Now imagine that you're starving but the waiters refuse to serve food because everyone else is "engrossed in their game".
It does take a whole new level of boredom to be able to find your cell phones calender a source of amusement for an hour but then again I'd never been to a place like this before.
Welcome to my world -.-

P.S. This becomes the first blog from my Android :).

Entering Blogging :D

Well I'd just bought myself an Android and the last app I needed to successfully "break-in" my phone would be Blogger. So I after ages of convincing myself that I had nothing to really blog about I thought, what the hell, I might as well give it a shot! Well I hope I'll last :)....
